Why Auburn? Auburn provides many opportunities, while being the most inclusive sense of home! I would not want to be anywhere else!
Future Plans: I plan on attending Physical Therapy School once I graduate to obtain a DPT!

What is your favorite thing about the college and your department?
My favorite thing about the College of Education is the number of opportunities provided to me. Along with the Student Council, there are Student Ambassadors, the Eagles Program, and so many clubs! Each faculty member works vigorously to make sure we, as students, are successful. My department is the School of Kinesiology, and this is my second home. I work as a Peer Advisor and get to speak with everyone in the building.

Why did you want to be a member of the School Council? What do you like most about this role?
I enjoy getting involved on campus in an intentional way. Since the College of Education provides me with so many opportunities, I knew I wanted to give back in some way. Applying for this position was just another way of my part in continuing to make Auburn great. While I might not make the biggest difference, I am allowed the opportunity to speak with my peers and speak on behalf of the Kinesiology Department.

What is one thing you wish you had known when you came to Auburn?
One thing I wish I had known before coming to Auburn is how to properly study for college courses. The courses we take are much more vigorous than high school or community college courses.

The Iron Bowl

What's one piece of advice you would give to new students?
Don't wish time away. Enjoy each hour of your day and find positivity along your way. Get involved and speak to everyone!

Haley Center...help! What should students remember to not get lost?
The first quadrant is facing the stadium because Auburn is #1, the second quadrant is facing the quad because there is two parts to it, the third quadrant is facing Foy because "Foy" has three letters in it, the fourth quadrant is facing the "big" buildings because of the 4 years of a degree.

What are your favorite Auburn activities?
I enjoy Auburn Football in Jordan-Hare, taking a walk on the beautiful campus, and meeting new people while participating on the concourse.
