The TigerFit health and physical fitness assessment, sponsored by the Department of Kinesiology, is free this Fall. Don’t miss this great opportunity to check your current fitness level or to get start on an exercise program.
The TigerFit assessment is a comprehensive fitness evaluation that includes a cardiovascular disease risk assessment, cholesterol and blood glucose screening, body composition with the iDXA machine, aerobic exercise testing with ECG, muscular endurance, flexibility, balance and a musculoskeletal evaluation. Clients receive a report explaining their results and giving an individualized exercise program.
Appointments for the assessment are available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting on 24 September and going until the Thanksgiving break. Appointment times are 7:30, 7:45, 8:00, 8:15, 8:30 and 8:45. The testing takes about one hour and 30 minutes. To make an appointment contact us firstname.lastname@example.org or call 844-1482.
