Law enforcement, community fellowship event set for September 7

July 27, 2017

“Together We Can,” an evening of discussion and fellowship between our area’s law enforcement officers and members of the local community, will be held on Thursday, September 7, at 6:30 pm in the Student Center Ballroom.

The event was conceived by Counseling Psychology doctoral student Jade Kinney, and is sponsored by the Association of Counseling Psychology Students. The first such event was held last fall. You can read about it here.

According to Kinney, “Together We Can invites the Auburn community to come fellowship with our local law enforcement. There will be free food and beverages provided by the Cross-Cultural Center for Excellence and an open discussion about police policies surrounding community interaction. Please come with an open mind and an empty belly!”

Feel free to share and join the discussion. For more information, email Kinney at
