The Auburn Transition Leadership Institute (ATLI) is now taking applications for peer mentors to work with its EAGLES Program and RISE (Real Impact on Student Engagement and Experiences) Initiative. EAGLES is a postsecondary education program for students with intellectual disabilities. EAGLES provides an opportunity for students with intellectual disabilities to engage in a multi-year campus residential experience at Auburn.
Selected candidates will serve within ATLI’s RISE Initiative and as WINGS peer mentors. WINGS is an acronym for Warmhearted Individuals Nurturing Great Success. All WINGS peer mentors must have at least sophomore standing at Auburn University and must be between the ages of 18 and 26. All applicants will be required to submit contact information for a professional and a peer reference. Upon completion of the application, an email will be sent to the selected references, requesting the references to complete an online recommendation form.
The recommendation forms must be completed by June 28, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. CST in order for your application to be considered complete for review. Complete information about the WINGS peer mentors and the application process is online at web.auburn.edu/institute/rise/mentor.aspx
