The Auburn University Agriscience Education program is proud to commend five of its outstanding students who will receive the American FFA Degree for their achievement in FFA at the National FFA Convention on October 28th, 2017.
The National FFA is a national youth organization of 610,240 student members based in secondary agricultural education programs. FFA members who develop Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs) have the opportunity to be awarded for their hard work at the chapter, state, and national level throughout and after their high school FFA careers.
Each year, the National FFA Organization honors FFA members who show the utmost dedication to the organization through their desire to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. Awarded to members who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to FFA and made significant accomplishments in their supervised agricultural experiences (SAEs), the American FFA Degree is awarded at the National FFA Convention & Expo each year to less than one percent of FFA members, making it one of the organization’s highest honors. We are very proud of these Auburn undergraduate Agriscience students for their commitment to the future of agriculture and their hard work and perseverance.
In addition to their degree certificate, each recipient receives a gold American FFA Degree key. The Auburn University Agriscience Education program students who will be so recognized include:
Shelby Atwood – Alabama – Florence FFA
Jordan Stowe – Alabama – Enterprise FFA
Josh Davis – Alabama – Skyline FFA
Emily Bornstein – Connecticut – Suffield FFA
Tia Chastain – Georgia – Mary Persons FFA
Congratulations! We are very proud of your accomplishments, and proud that you are a part of the Auburn University Agriscience Education program! War Eagle!
