Elizabeth Webster, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Kinesiology, recently earned a $2,000 graduate student research grant from the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity .
The grant will support Webster’s project, “Examination of physical activity breaks on preschoolers’ physical activity participation, motor skill competence and on-task behaviors.” Webster’s project was one of just four to receive funding through NASPSPA’s competitive process.
Grant recipients are invited to present their research findings at a future NASPSPA conference.
