Rehabilitation Informatics Lab – Keith Lohse, Ph.D.
The Rehabilitation Informatics Lab examines how psychological and physiological factors affect the learning and performance of complex skills. The lab use experimental and meta-analytic techniques to understand a range of skills, from the acquisition of athletic skills to re-acquiring motor skills in rehabilitation. Keith Lohse, Ph.D. is the director of the lab.
The lab use records-based research methods to determine how the amount and timing of physical/occupational therapy impact outcomes. Lohse and his graduate students are conducting a meta-analysis on stroke rehabilitation research and creating a database to provide a universal resource for stroke rehabilitation therapy to propose the most effective outcomes for patients.
