Alternative M.Ed. Degree
The Alternative M.Ed. degree leads to recommendation for Class A Alabama professional educator certification.
Coursework — 40 hours minimum
- Teaching field — 15 hours
- Professional studies* — 25 to 28 hours
*Undergraduate courses may be required by your advisor committee for your plan of study. This coursework is in addition to the total hours noted above and must be completed prior to Clinical Residency.
