If you love music and want to share it with others, we’re the place for you! Our undergraduate music education students start their music teaching journey on day one as freshmen and finish their degree with a full-time music teaching internship. You’ll learn to teach in music classrooms with outstanding and collaborative teachers. We also offer graduate opportunities, online or on-campus, at the master’s or education specialist degree levels. If you’re ready to delve deeper into research, consider our Music Education Ph.D. degree.
Music Education faculty and students regularly conduct, present, and publish research for local, state, national, and international conferences and journals.
Students work with Tiger Strings Youth Orchestra and in schools with the Beethoven & Me project.
